Sri Lankan Film Secures Two Prestigious Acting Awards at the 9th Malaysia International Film Festival

Sri Lankan cinema has earned another proud international achievement as the acclaimed film Riverstone, released through the NFC Rythma Circuit Release, secured two prestigious acting awards at the Malaysia Golden Global Award 2026 | 9th Malaysia International Film Festival.

Veteran actor Mahendra Perera received the Best Actor award for his outstanding performance in Riverstone, while Priyantha Sirikumara was honoured with the Best Supporting Actor award for his remarkable portrayal in the same film.
