National Film Corporation,

established in 1971 with the aim of promoting, developing, and regulating the film industry in Sri Lanka. As a pivotal body in the Sri Lankan cinema landscape, the NFC facilitates the production, distribution, and exhibition of films. It plays a crucial role in supporting local filmmakers and fostering the growth of the national film culture.
